A great way to grow your kid’s interest in geography is to read books to them about different places before you visit them. We read them as part of our bedtime ritual.
164. Haystack Towers
We came upon these huge towering stacks of hay and I explained to my kid that the hay was food for the local farm animals. Kids are often interested in what animals eat on a daily basis.

We invested some time and money to visit this Science Museum for kids. They had some interesting exhibits featuring different aspects of Science. We like to bring our kid to visit museums when we can because they often have exhibits to explain Science in a way that we couldn’t recreate by ourselves at home.

174. Sand Castles

We came upon strange poo-like structures while walking barefoot on a local beach and decided to use Google to find out what they were. They turned out to be lugworms and thankfully, not dangerous.

177. Beginner Piano Lessons
It is possible to teach kids music theory even at a young age. I found some stickers and wrote the alphabet notes on the piano keys to help my toddler start to recognize the note sounds. But be prepared to start slow and keep your expectations low!
